Short Message Pesan Singkat

Short Message (Pesan Singkat) adalah pesan pendek yang dikirimkan pada seseorang untuk memberitahu tentang suatu hal. Pesan pendek dapat ditulis di atas secarik kertas atau dikirim melalui SMS (Short Message Sentence) WA (Whatsapp) Telegram atau aplikasi lain. Pesan pendek biasanya berisi nama penerima pesan, isi pesan, dan nama penulis pesan. Isi pesan pendek sebaiknya ditulis secara singkat, jelas dan mudah dimengerti.

Jika Pesan Pendek berupa SMS, WA, Telegram kita dapat menggunakan sejumlah singkatan yang sudah diketahui maknanya secara umum. Contohnya, c u (see you), btw (by the way), asap (as soon as possible), 4u (for you), r u ok? (are you okay?) atau gws (get well soon).

2. Generic Structure

a. Addresses : the receiver of the message

b. Content : the message that you want to tell to the receiver

c. Sender :  the name of person or organization who sent the message

3. Lexicogramatical Feature

- Short sentences

- Use of simple sentences to supply information

- Use of pronoun: I, You, They,etc.
