Pengertian Announcement

Announcement (Pengumuman) adalah sesuatu yang digunakan untuk memberikan sebuah informasi penting kepada orang banyak. Pengumuman terbagi menjadi 2, pengumuman yang bersifat umum (public announcement) dan pengumuman yang bersifat pribadi (private announcement)

Bagian – bagian pengumuman antara lain:

-          Pihak yang menerima pengumuman tersebut

-          Informasi lengkap mengenai isi pengumuman, yang didalamnya terdapat jenis peristiwa, tempat dan tanggal suatu acara akan di adakan dan orang/lembaga yang membuat pengumuman tersebut.

Secara ringkas, bagian-bagian serta ciri-ciri teks announcement dapat di sajikan sebagai berikut:

1. Social Function

To convey certain inforamation or events to general public or specific group

2. Generic Structure

a. Title ; consist of information about type of event or information that will be announced in the text

b. Content : Consist of specific detail of the information or event, such as date, time, place or other specific information

c. Closing : consist of the name and the number of contact person.
